Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 was released November 19, but sadly not without certain teething problems. The ones trying to get started with the game on day one found themselves in permanent queues due to overloaded streaming servers. And since the game is entirely dependent on cloud storage and streaming, only using the player’s computer or consol as a thin client, this meant the game becoming more or less unresponsive.
The game itself, once up and running, do look promising utilizing the same real world map data technique as its predecessor MSFS 2020, now combined with more of a career mode.
