AGI free DLC for Farming Simulator 22

Giants Software has released yet another free DLC for Farming Simulator 22. This time it is a pack with silos, augers and more from AGI. The pack also includes a new method to make seed from your harvested grain by using a seed treater.

It can be good to be aware that in order to get the AGI Pack you have to “buy” it in Steam’s store. The price for purchase is zero though, so it’s very affordable.

AGI is a globally leading manufacturer of portable and stationary grain handling, storage and conditioning equipment. Engineering unique, market-specific systems, they maintain an international network to supply the world’s food infrastructure with more than 35 different brands.

In connection with the AGI Pack DLC release Farming Simulator 22 is also updated with the 1.5 patch which addresses some game quirks.

Farming, old style

This is quite possibly the smallest harvester I’ve ever driven. But this little Vistula is so cute that it’s hard not to fall in love with it! Also you can almost feel the wind in your hair as you sit in the open seat, watching the golden straw go by.

The Vistula KZB-3 is a Polish harvester from earlier times manufactured by FMŻ. The mod is made by Deus_Volt and can be found in the official modhub.

The map I am on is the “eastern part of Europe”-inspired Osada, also available in the modhub. It is made by RajotGPLAY.

On the road in (new) Austria

With the latest patch for Euro Truck Simulator 2, SCS Software has released the new version of the Austria part of the basegame map.

Unlike the earlier revision of Germany, the Austria part is a total rework of every road and city in the country. And it shows! The difference from the old version is huge as this part of the map now is up to par with the latest DLCs when it comes to visual presentation and road network.

The fact that big parts of the country consists of very visually delightful Alpine views does make the result of the rework even more welcome. I can’t help but find myself loving to drive through the tunnels and across the valleys.

ETS 2 Update 1.44

Euro Truck Simulator 2 has now been updated to version number 1.44. The main difference for us players will be the total rework of Austria, which now is a very different and much more visually pleasing place than in its old 2013 basegame incarnation.

American Truck Simulator patch 1.44

The 1.44 patch for American Truck Simulator is now deployed and it contains quite a bit of updates and additions. Not the least the second part of the rework of the California map. While not as badly needed as the reworks SCS Software is doing for Euro Truck Simulator 2, it still is a noticable improvement over the earlier version and very welcome.

English farming

Doing some harvesting in the picturesque English countryside (although I admit it’s not the best picture for showing that). The map mod Calmsden Farm is made by Oxygendavid and is a very lifelike replica of the real life area in Gloustershire, England. The mod is available in the official modhub.

The harvester used in the picture is a basegame New Holland. And yes, it’s leased, because when starting from scratch the money for such shiny, new things are a bit limited.

Precision Farming for FS22 released

Giants have now released the game changing (if you want to, it’s still fully possibly to play without Precision Farming if you want to keep the simpler, traditional way of gameplay) Precision Farming DLC. Just like it’s namesake predecessor for FS19, the Precision Farming DLC is a project co-sponsored by an EU fund and John Deere among others.

Simultaneously the release of the DLC it is patch time again (patch 1.4) and as usual for Farming Simulator 22 it comes with not only bugfixes but also with some new free content. This time it is the new brand Salek as well as a new Claas machine. In total seven new things to play with.

Going north

After having accepted to do a delivery to the end of civilization, I sort of found myself taking ad photos in a Canadian sand pit. Seriously, Promods Canada offers some really nice scenery and looong winding gravel roads to get there.

Then however I got back to civilization and had to spend more time sitting in a queue again. But at least even here the scenery sort of made up for it.

New American truck

There’s now a new truck cabin available in American Truck Simulator. The International Eagle 9900i has been added and is now possible to get at any International store in the game.

As is usual for SCS Software’s game updates of this kind, the addition is released as a free upgrade to the base game.
