As of today the latest US state map for American Truck Simulator is released and it’s possible to start driving on the other side of the Continental Divide.
Colorado brings a bunch of new cities and transport destinations like gold mines and wind turbine factories.
The intrepid trucker can also now haul cargo along the Million Dollar Highway. A route as scenic as it is challenging as it snakes along steep mountainsides with, well, limited safety measures (look Ma, no guardrails!).

Luckily enough I had the ability to take out a loan and get my dear driver a shiny new Western Star. My verdict this far is that this will probably be the main choice for a while. It’s a very nice thing to drive.
And it only took a few days before I could afford some really neat airbrush art for it.

In the series of famous places we today visit the Yuma Proving Ground. I suppose I really should have had some helicopter or something in transport. Oh well. The things inside this trailer are more than important enough, I’d say.
